Exodus 19:5

"Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine."

The Desires of Your Heart.

Psalms 37:4
"Take delight in the LORD,
and he will give you the desires of your heart."

As most of you know, I grew up around horses and I absolutely love riding horses. It's just something that is fun, and relaxing for me. The other day, I was talking with my friend about really wanting to ride a horse, we were trying to figure out where they had horses here in Siguatepeque and where we could go riding. We only talked about it for a few minutes and then forgot about it.
Later that same day, we were driving to the market to pick up bananas and I saw a horse with a saddle on. I thought it would be a great picture so I had Allan drive down the rode towards the horse. To my surprise, Allan knew the lady that was standing with the owner of the horse and she asked if I wanted to ride. Or course I wanted to but had to say no. The lady insisted and so I got on. I just rode down the street and back, but it felt great! I was so happy and blown away by what God did.  After I rode, we were standing there talking about how crazy it was that, it was just that morning that I had said that I wanted to ride a horse. The lady put it in great terms, she said 'God gives you the desires of your heart. He knows what you want.' And you know it is so true! In that moment it showed me how blessed I am to have a God that loves me so much. He wants to see us happy and He will give us the desires of our heart. Even if it's a little thing, such as riding a horse. This has not been the only time that God has given me the desires of my heart, and I know it probably won't be the last. God wants to see us happy, He wants to give us what we desire. He loves to do things like that.
The picture I wanted to take. (:

I wanted to write this story not only because it is a amazing story about how much God loves us, but also to encourage you in some way. I hope you were encouraged.(:
Always Remember:
"Take delight in the LORD,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this." (Psalms 37:4-5)

So the question is:
"What is your desire?"

Your desire is what you long for, what or whom you long to be with. Your desire is where your heart is. Your desire is your greatest treasure and will be your reward.

"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 6:21

Honduran Tacos.

This week I am 'house sitting' for fellow missionaries that had to make a trip to Belize to renew their visa. (The same trip I have to make in a few weeks) Anyways, because I am house sitting, I am able to cook in a real kitchen! So this week I have asked my teachers to show me how to cook some of the popular Honduran meals! I will be learning a new item each day, but ending the week with me cooking American food for my teachers. I have a feeling this is going to be the best week of Spanish class!

The first Item I learned is Honduran Tacos:

Well that's it for today. I hope you enjoyed. Until next time!

P.S: Directions on how to cook them, will follow shortly.

Fuimos a Comayagua

This Saturday all of the Spanish student (all 3 of us), the teachers and 2 1/2 extra people, went on a field trip to a neighboring town known as, Comayagua. We spent the morning touring a church and then we learned some of the history of Comayagua and more. After all of the touring we got to sit down and enjoy a nice meal at a restaurant in Central Park. It was absolutely beautiful! I loved it!  I hope you enjoy the pictures! Until next time!
