The Last few weeks.

The weeks have just flown by! I cannot believe it is a week from Thanksgiving! Where has the time gone?!? So much has happened since arriving here. I have found myself speaking more Spanish! which is good since I'm here to learn. The other day I had a argument about the cake icing in Honduras. Yea it sounds pretty dumb to have argument about cake icing, but the thing that amazes me is that I had that argument in SPANISH!! You know you have learned a lot when you can have a argument about cake icing is Spanish. :)  And that is just one of many example to show that I am learning Spanish. It makes me so happy!
Well since I am already writing a blog, I should probably update you on the last few weeks. I'll start with last week. Last week was a long week of preparing for graduation here at the seminary. We had a total of, I believe, 20 students graduate from the seminary school! Hallelujah! Those students are equipped to reach other people with what they have learned here at the seminary! We had a banquet for the students and their family Friday night, which last a total of like 2 or 3 hours! It was very nice though. Saturday they had the graduation for the students and several people came from all over Honduras. It was a great experience. So last week was a week of preparing for graduation and also a week of saying goodbye to the students. For those who did not graduate this year, they will return to seminary in February. From now until around February is Honduras's 'summer' break from school. So now it is super quiet here on campus! So if you ever want to visit Honduras... (:
A little note to put in here....(also a prayer request) As well as having to deal with the preparations for graduation, i was also dealing with a ruptured eardrum. Which was not fun. So in the mist of everything, one day last week my eardrum decided to rupture in the middle of the night. It is doing a lot better now. Praise God! So please pray that it continues to heal quickly and that the other ear doesn't decide to do the same thing.
Also October 28- November 2. I got to visit many different places. First I traveled to Didasko! (For those that don't know about Didasko, it is the children home here in Honduras where I lived from Feb. - May this year.) I traveled with a friend from Siguatepeque to Tamara which is about a 2 hour bus drive. After the bus ride, we were picked up by Rhonda, a missionary who lives in the children home, and taken to Didasko. The kids didn't know we were going, so they were very surprised to see us! It was amazing! You should have seen the kids face! We only got to stay in Didasko Friday - Sunday which was not enough time! But I plan to return sometime in the next few weeks.
That Sunday we met up with Mark, Peyton, and Micah. On Monday we got to visit some friends of Mark that live past Danli, which is about 2-3 hours from Tegucigalpa. I got to meet new friends, along with getting to see new and exciting places! It was such a great experience! I cannot wait to visit the people again! We got to do so many other things also but there's not enough time to write it all!
There is so much I can write about but my computer is dying and I do not have the charge so I must cut it short this time. I hope you enjoyed! For the next blog I will post pictures from this trip! so Until next time!

Prayer Request.

Friends & supporters

Please pray that God would continue to provide me with the tools I need to further my ministry in Honduras.  The computer I have been borrowing here is leaving soon, greatly limiting my options to study, research and communicate with those here and in the States.  Thank you for your continued support!
