A couple of years ago Rosa (the “mom” of Didasko) was diagnosed with a brain tumor that is inoperable here in Honduras. In July of last year several churches in the U.S. pulled together and sent her and Jorge to Miami to have a procedure done called Cyber-knife. Supposedly this procedure should have removed the tumor. This month they had another MRI done to see the status of the tumor and found that it is actually LARGER than it was before the procedure. This news was obviously disheartening for Rosa and the family. They are praying that they can get the funds together to go back to the U.S. to see the doctor that did the procedure to see what more can be done to help her. Please be praying that the Lord provides the finances needed to get back to the States, and for the medical expenses encountered there, and of course for complete healing.
This woman is amazing. Although I cannot communicate with her very well because I don’t speak much Spanish, I see how big her heart is through her actions with others and these kids. She is an amazing woman of God, she doesn’t even let this news from the MRI stop her from loving on these kids and she continues to spend time with them and teach them things. She is a loving mother! I love her. Please keep her and the family in your prayers. Rosa and Jorge need to make the trip back to the U.S to run more tests and talk with the doctors there. We’re praying for the money to come in so that they are able to get everything that they need completed. But most importantly we are praying for a COMPLETE HEALTHING, that this tumor will disappear and be gone and not return again.
