WIM International Conference 2010

Every 3 years, World Indigenous Missions(WIM)holds a International Conference for all of their missionaries. And since I have teamed up with WIM I got to attend the conference. The conference brings all of the WIM missionaries together and give us all time to fellowship with each other and get refreshed and ready to go back out on the field again. Since this year was my first conference to attend I was a little nervous about meeting everyone, but from day one I felt as if I have known those people for a long time. WIM strives to create a family environment with their missionaries, and so it was nice to get to meet most of the people in my new family.

During the Conference God spoke me through so many people and through the teachings. I got to hear so many testimonies. It was a tremendous blessing. To know that those poeple made it through some of the roughest time, like getting kicked out of their village after living there for 2 years, to having to be life-flighted back to the States, to even losing one of the natives on the field. They made it through those hard times, and they are still serving and continuing to be available and open to what God has for them. Through hearing those testimonies I know that I can make it on the field. It's not going to always be easy but I know I can make it with the help of God and the prayer of my fellow friends and family. I was encouraged by everything and I am ready to go and see what I can do in Honduras (and where ever else God takes me) I looking forward to sharing all that God has done for me and look forward to sharing with you some of the things God has given me. So stay tuned for the upcoming attractions. Until next time.
