Someone to Admire.

As of right now I am currently working at Life Training Institute as their marketing person, I am selling candles and jewelry and applying for another job. Also I am in the process of designing a t-shirt for another fundraiser. I cannot express how excited I am to be going back to Honduras. (On God’s timing) I am ready to learn another language and be able to help, to minister to and share the love of Christ to the Honduran. Each day that passes, it get a little bit closer to the day of me getting on a plane and flying back over there. Which I’m very excited about. Well here is a little something that has been on my mind lately. I thought you might enjoy it so here you go. (:

About a week ago while at church, a Missions Pastor friend of mine told me her admired me for what I was doing, for having the endurance to keep going and the determination to get back to Honduras, and do all that I can to get there. I can honestly say I did not know what to say about that. I was a little stunned because a Mission Pastor, who has been to many places before, told me he admired me for doing what I’m doing when in fact I admire him and everything that he has done and is doing in missions. As I drove home from church that night I thought about how many people I admire; My mom, for always working hard and always loving me even when I was disobedient and rebellious, plus some. Mrs. Lisa, my first camp mom, for everything that she has done here in the States and out of the States, and for what she is in the process of doing. I admire my second camp mom, Brittany Ellermann, for being one of the best moms ever to her own kids , to her foster kids and to her levite kids, while still having to deal with everything that goes on in her life and the camp life. And then there’s Samantha, for having the determination to keep going, and always listening and really caring about people, even though she has so many other things that needs to be done. I cannot list all the people I admire and look up to because really the list could go on. Each person has a different impact on my life whether they’re young, medium aged, or old people. Each person plays a role. God placed each person in my life for a reason, whether to teach me something, to encourage me, to pray for me, to support me and so on. And each person is in your life for a reason, even if you know the reason or not. God has a plan for it. (: so trust him and don’t miss out on the opportunities of friendships. You never know what kind of difference that person will make in your life and/or what kind of difference you’ll make in that person’s life.

Now here are some questions to ponder: Who do you admire and look up to? Do they know it? Who’s your role model? What kind of difference are you making in someone else’s life?

Well, I hope you enjoyed. Until next time.
